VoiceOver competition winner announced
Politics.co.uk is delighted to announce that the winner of our recent VoiceOver competition is Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG).
CPAG will be the lucky recipients of a bespoke public policy video, filmed, produced and distributed by Politics.co.uk.
The competition ran to celebrate the launch of VoiceOver, which was officially unveiled at the Labour Conference in Manchester.
CPAG’s topical short film will use our in-house studio expertise to marry the growing power of online video with Politics.co.uk’s strong media profile to help the charity raise awareness of poverty in the UK.
CPAG spokesman Tim Nichols said: “We are really delighted to have won the chance to work with Politics.co.uk. Video is the most rich and powerful medium for presenting messages.
"Rather than being displaced by modern technologies, it has a new lease of life with phones and tablets designed for video and social media distribution not just to audiences, but by audiences. We think this is going to be a very valuable way to get across the message of the reality of poverty in the UK today.”
